Granted, the main energy event yesterday was the public unveiling of the Kerry/Boxer climate bill. So big, in fact, that it seems to have sucked all the oxygen from our public square, allowing an extremely important event to be overlooked.
H.R. 3585, the Solar Technology Roadmap Act, sponsored by US Representative Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ), passed out of its subcommittee and will now move to the full House Committee on Science and Technology. In the video above, Rep. Giffords introduces and explains her bill. It passed, with one amendment and bipartisan support, on a voice vote.
